Classic Rhubarb Sauce

Enjoy this sweet tart sauce that you can use as a dessert topper or a sauce for chicken and pork.

Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen rhubarb, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients into a saucepan.  Bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer until the moisture is removed and fruit has broken down (12-15 mins.).  Be sure to stir frequently.
